Negatives with Type
The first poster is made with a sans serif font called Neue Haas Grotesk Display Pro. The second is made with a serif font called Stempel Garamond LT Std. Both of these posters are made to convey the unity between type and negative space to create an abstract piece of art.
Fonts are everywhere in our world. On our phones, on signs, on our clothes, on food packaging, and pretty much everywhere you look. Some of the most popular branding and logos that we see everyday are also used for other logos. For these posters, I used two different fonts that we see everywhere. Whether a serif font or a sans serif font, we can use fonts to create beautiful pieces of art.
